As Technical Services Manager for Show Data Solutions, Gene is responsible for all technical services provided at our events, including registration setup, lead management and attendee tracking. Gene interfaces with our registration and technical staff to ensure that every aspect of the event runs smoothly. From event move-in to move-out, Gene monitors all of the technical services that are in use at an event, provides technical support to both our staff and our clients and works directly with exhibitors to provide training on our lead management products and services. In addition, Gene also handle a wide variety of customer service issues, including rental contracts, onsite payments, exhibitor downloads and lead distribution both onsite and post-show.
Gene has over 10 years experience in event management, onsite registration, meeting/event planning and trade show data services. Gene coordinates all staff assignments with our Registration Manager, Tonya Batty. Together, they manages these employees onsite at the event. Gene ensures that each staff member is knowledgeable of the show organizer’s event (directions, instructions, dates/times, meetings, etc.) and works with the staff to make our technical services perform as planned. Gene’s outstanding attention to detail and dedication to customer service make him an invaluable member of the SDS team.
